No, by ‘buying’ I do not mean buying hardware parts for your Final Year Projects, of course you need to buy them but one should not buy the entire project. Many of you do, and your teacher knows about it. Below are some points as to why a readymade project is a harmful virus.
- Zero self-development. A project of Final Year level requires planning, coordination and right attitude among all the group members, your self-esteem, ability to coordinate and problem solving attitude takes a back seat when you simply buy and submit a project.
- Bad Impression. As mentioned, you’re a fool if you think that your teacher would not know how you completed your project, they know everything and thus it may not reflect in your grade but it will surely reflect the quality of engineer you are going to become.
- It’s not only about Engineering. Some of you go for all the shortcut method to complete the final year project, probable reason being that you are going for MBA, Agriculture job, Bank job (blah blah) after B.Tech (or BE) but you people need to understand that FYP is not only about Science, Technology etc, it is also about group planning, resource collection, surveying and coordination. You lose a lot when you use shortcut methods.
- 40% Own Effort is Better than 100% Fake Effort. Yes, take pride, credit and feel good from mind and soul on completing your project by 40% rather than completing it (by buying it) 100% without any effort from your side. Don’t let that dumboo feeling ruin you on your presentation day, stay confident, you should know A-Z of what you did in your project.
Update 1: Spend your monetary resources on good things, not on things which won’t last long.
